On my birthday, Siv took me to Cremant (pronounced- Kray-Mahn), a famed French Bistro in Madrona that we have been planning to try for a while. Cremant is an unpretentious bistro serving traditional French fare in good sized portions. It is not your typical fine dining French restaurant, where you will have umpteen courses of tiny plates; not that I don’t enjoy that experience.
Crush - Another Sexy Restaurant in Madison
Sunday, April 29th, 2007Filed Under American, Madison Park/Madrona, Northwest | 3 Comments
I am so jealous of people staying at the Madison Valley, they have too many nice restaurants in the neighborhood! I still haven’t made my mind up as to which one I like better, Harvest Vine or Crush, we have been to both places many times, in fact we normally think of going to Harvest Vine, but if the place is too crowded, end up at Crush. That would make you think that Harvest Vine is our first choice, but […]

If anyone asked me to name my favorite restaurant in Seattle, my first response would be Harvest Vine. Once I say it out, I might start blabbering and throw some more names out and start categorizing by cuisine, prize, ambiance etc. because that’s just my nature, can’t really commit to anything, except to Siv of course… :).
Harvest Vine has been our favorite restaurant for a while, serving up authentic Basque cuisine and Spanish Tapas to the hungry foodies in the tiny […]
Nishino has been on my radar ever since the Zagat Guide to America’s Top Restaurants 2007 came out. According to the Zagat survey, five restaurants tied for the top spot in Seattle in 2006 - The Herbfarm, Nishino, Lampreia, Rover’s and Mistral . We have been to three, and been planning to go to Herbfarm for our anniversary this year, but had never thought of Nishino. So when the 25 for $25 announcement came out, I was really excited to find Nishino in […]
Coupage - French-Korean Fusion!
Sunday, March 4th, 2007Filed Under French, Korean, Madison Park/Madrona | 4 Comments
Yeah, first time I heard about this place, I was surprised too, there are a lot of Asian-French fusion places around here, but it was the first time that I ever came across a specific Korean fusion. But I was intrigued, did a little research, and came across some pretty encouraging reviews.. So when I heard that Suneeta had selected Coupage as Sudhakar’s birthday dinner venue, I was very excited…(okay, I subtly suggested the place to her in the first place […]
