Sig, I like the way you have categorized it. It makes very easy to search for a dish. I want to do something similar in my blog too….
Sig, did you write all the code or is it a plugin? I think this is very very useful. I love it. Btw..another question…do you shrink the size of photo programatically or you save it like that manually? I get the requests for same dishes again and again on my blog, I am just fed up of answering same. So I feel if I categorize like this, my life will be a bit easier. Thanks a lot for the info dear.
Sig, you have a wonderful recipe index here! I have a small suggestion for you that will help people like me who come here looking for home-style Kerala fare: how about a category for classic recipes from Kerala? Thank you!
i wanna write code like you when i grow up! oops!! i am already grown up!
dammit!
Sig, I really admire this index of yours
Yes) …if only I could do something like this
Simply loved your blog!!!Keep blogging…
Hi Sig, I really love and admire your recipe index.

Hi Sig,
Thanks for the new year wishes …. I had a question related to the pic sizes of the dishes …. do you resize them programatically or do you do it manually ….. I am trying to have the recipe index the way you have it because it is very convenient ……
I admire the work you have put in the site … it looks very professional …..
Hi Ashima, WordPress creates a thumbnail automatically on the uploaded pictures. I then wrote code to find these thumbnails and display these. Not sure whether blogger has anything like this.
i never get tired of using this page…just had to say thanks!
A very useful page this is.
Hi,

Thanks Priya, and a hearty welcome to Live to Eat! Glad you enjoyed the visit!
I love, love, love your recipe index! I’m in the middle of a blog redesign and would love to do something like this for my blog. Are you still willing to send the code to those who ask for it? I’d be more than happy to give a nominal donation for the code!
What an absolutely lovely website! How did I miss it before now? Today I typed, “indian goat recipe” into Google and your site came up. I’ve already sent the link to friends. Thanks so much for your effort, the fine photos and the recipes with lovely narratives. Am looking forward to the Sri Lankan goat (my husband is making it now) and am delighted with this index!
