Venetian Gondolas – This is my favorite picture from this trip. Something about the blue and the black..

The view from the Rialto bridge in Venice on a cloudy November morning.

The Colosseum.

Arch of Constantine, a triumphal arch to commemorate Constantine I‘s victory over Maxentius at the Battle of Milvian Bridge

Inside the Colosseum.

The Pope’s residence in Vatican.

St.Peter’s Basilica, Vatican

The dome of Saint Peter’s Basilica, day and night

Baldacchino by Bernini inside Saint .Peter’s Basilica. This large sculpted bronze canopy is located over the high altar and beneath the dome of the Saint Peter’s Basilica marking the place of Saint Peter’s tomb.

We had three beautiful sunny days in Rome. Look at that blue sky! This is Plaza Republica.

And the famous fountain in front of the Republican Plaza

.
Palazzo delle Esposizioni – Rome’s largest exhibition space, we didn’t go in here, I just love this picture for that blue sky.

And finally, an obligatory shot of us, just to show that we were actually there.
