My Birthday Loot

Finally, my birthday is here and I am having a fabulous time! We had a fun dinner with friends at Boka last night. Tonight Siv is taking me out for a romantic dinner somewhere, he hasn’t told me where yet. Well, food is always great, but the best part about birthdays are the gifts, and boy, did I score!

Siv got me a whole bunch of stuff related to photography. He actually did a lot of research, and got me stuff specific for close up shots, including a new lens, and this Nikon Close-up Speedlight Remote Kit with so many tiny things inside, I have to spend at least a week reading through the manual to figure out what the heck I can do with it. I am totally ignorant when it comes to photography, so don’t expect to start seeing some jaw-dropping pictures here from tomorrow, or anytime in the near future. :) He has also enrolled me in some photography class, it sounds  like so much work to me, I just convinced him to take it with me, so someone can do my homework…

In addition to all these, I got some really nice gifts from my friends as well. M gave me these amazing foodie books, I have no idea which one to start with, each one sounds better than the other! Thanks M… perfect gift!

    I just got here and boom a post. My sis and you share the same birthday. No wonder we get along or do we (…hm..m) since you recently have new taste for tofu. I would say yes. :)

    Your camera gifts look intense! What kind of lens did he get you, I have a Nikon too and I see a Nikkor lens..Scoop please.
